Because there is usually a lot to discuss in one session, most client’s find it helpful to come in for a 60 minute time period. Other options listed are 90 or 120 minutes in length. Please visit the link above for all of the scheduling options that I offer, or contact me to inquire about a customized length of time.
Cancellation Policy: The session that you book is time reserved exclusively for your benefit. My 24 hour cancellation policy is based on fairness to you, myself, and other clients needing appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at a rate of 100% for the cost of the session. Same day bookings which are subsequently cancelled (and where I am unable to fill the spot in time) are subject to the same cancellation fee.
Payment Methods:
Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Discover Card, American Express.
*All debit-transfer and PayPal payments must be made in advance of your session. For debit transfer, please use trailheadcounselling@gmail.com. Please visit my scheduling software for the exact amount of your session.
In order to conserve paper, an official receipt with my registration number will be emailed to you no later than two days after your session.
Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP): I’m also a registered counsellor for Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) and bill them directly for your covered sessions as well if you have been approved for coverage for counselling sessions through ICBC due to a vehicle accident.
What is CVAP?
The Crime Victim Assistance Program is a government-funded program that covers counselling services to help individuals recover from the effects of traumatic events. If you or an immediate family member have been victimized by violence, including physical or sexual abuse, or you have been a witness to such crimes, you may be eligible for financial assistance to cover therapy costs. Even if you’re not sure if you have been a victim of crime, you can call VictimLink BC at 1-800-563-0808 for assistance. Victim service workers are also available to help apply for funding through the Crime Victim Assistance Program. Financial assistance is available whether or not a perpetrator is charged and there is no time limit for applications from victims of sexual offences.
Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss the CVAP program or refer to VictimLink BC for more information.

What my clients say:
This is just some-thing small to thank-you for all the time you have spent with me in our therapy sessions. I really have appreciated every minute you let me pour out my thoughts to you. I really needed an ear and feel so much more confident and ok with myself than when I first came to you. You’ve helped show me that I am not the only one who has some of the thoughts I do and also helped me tame some of my self-doubt. Thank you for your ear and all the help you have given me.
K.SMeredith thank you for seeing me this morning and for your great insights and your great ears and words. I cannot begin to tell you how much you are helping me. I can only hope that you just know how truly awesome you are. Thanks for opening up new avenues and new thought processes I have kept hidden and avoided for so long. You have helped me re-frame Sundays possibly the worst day for me. I look forward to continuing to work with you and learn from you.
JYour support and counselling was very precious and healing to me. Thanks for the important role you played in my journey.
SamI want to thank you very much for counselling me and for all your help. I appreciate your sharp perspective and fresh look at things.
